Marie Curie France Régions (MCFR) is a programme for researchers’ mobility co-funded by the European Commission and 14 French regions. The programme is essentially based on mobility programmes that already exist in these regions. MCFR connect these programmes, which are usually completely independent but have one common factor: a strong will to develop a policy of university mobility in their respective territories.

The objective of MCFR is to combine these regional initiatives to create a programme of national scope combining a wide geographical distribution with a very broad range of research subjects.

The visibility and the reach of the programmes will be improved at national and international levels to support the international researchers’ mobility.

The MCFR programme is coordinated by the French University Rectors Conference (CPU).
